Social Intifada demands an investigation into Al Majd Europe for aiding Palestinians in evacuation under the pretense of compassion

Following extensive deliberations between civil society groups and South African authorities, Social Intifada’s Khalid Vawda said they have called for an investigation into Al-Majd Europe, an organisation that facilitated the arrival of over 150 Palestinians in South Africa last week.

Speaking to VOC News, Vawda said upon further research, he discovered “multiple red flags which also indicated that the organisation’s images were AI-generated while there is no registered charity number evident on their website.”

“The Al Jazeera team went to the stipulated location mentioned on the website in Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem, but there was no trace of them there – the address is a valid one, but there is no charity that exists at that address,” stated Vawda.

Additionally, attorney Yousha Tayoub discussed with VOC News the ongoing legal matters concerning the Palestinians who arrived last week. The interview took place during the PM Drive show.
