In response to a complaint on Nontulo Street, New Cross, the South African Police Service (SAPS) discovered the bodies of a male and a female inside a residence. Both victims had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head and upper body.
Colonel Andrè Traut stated, “A third male victim was found outside the premises with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. The deceased males are aged 33 and 46.”
“The motive for the attack is currently unknown and forms part of the ongoing investigation. The Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit detectives have been assigned to the case and will pursue all available leads with urgency and diligence to ensure that those responsible are brought to book,” added Traut.
