Palestinians in the Gaza Strip celebrate the results of the secondary education certificate exams

“We extend our deepest congratulations to our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. We also congratulate our successful and outstanding high school students (Tawjihi). They have achieved excellence, granted by Allah, despite harsh and horrific circumstances during the genocidal war on our people and beloved Gaza.”

This is according to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. The statement was issued following the deprivation of university attendance for students in the Gaza Strip after Israeli occupation forces destroyed educational institutions.

“This honourable success, achieved amidst the rubble of war and the pains of the siege, embodies the awareness, solid will, and determination of our Palestinian people to challenge and continue the path of science and civilisation,” stated Hamas.

“It also confirms that the occupation, despite its systematic destruction of schools and universities and its targeting of students and teachers, will never be able to break our people’s resolve or erase their passion for knowledge and life,” added the resistance.

Hamas additionally urged nations, institutions, and organisations that value education to deliver ongoing assistance to Palestinian students, universities, and schools in the Gaza Strip, allowing them to meet their educational requirements, which are a crucial component of the Palestinian people’s struggle.
