Iran kicks off with a third round of nuclear talks in Geneva

Iranian and American negotiators are engaged in a third round of indirect nuclear talks in Geneva.

The discussions are taking place amid a significant United States military build-up in the Middle East, with several countries advising their citizens to leave Iran due to the risk of potential U.S. strikes.

Speaking to VOC News, Prof Ahmed Jazbhay of the Media Review Network said Donald Trump appeared frustrated that Iran has not conceded to U.S. demands.

“Trump does not want a war, but he is under pressure from forces beyond his control. While the likelihood of war remains, the prospect of diplomacy still prevails,” Jazbhay said.
