Iran describes the reinstatement of UN sanctions on its nuclear program as “unjustifiable”

Iran has described the reinstatement of United Nations (UN) sanctions on its nuclear program as “unjustifiable.” The move follows the breakdown of negotiations with Western powers and recent Israeli and U.S. military actions targeting Iranian nuclear facilities.

Speaking to VOC News, Iranian journalist Alireza Kamandi said that Iran has made repeated efforts to engage in negotiations with the United States, but these attempts were reportedly rejected.

Kamandi also provided an analysis of the broader geopolitical dynamics between Iran and the U.S. in the aftermath of the sanctions.
