“What the fascist occupation army is committing, systematic destruction of Gaza City’s neighborhoods through intensive aerial airstrikes and robots carrying tons of explosives detonated in residential areas, represents an unprecedented violation of international and humanitarian laws.”
This is according to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. The statement follows the continuous bombardment of neighborhoods in Gaza and the targeting of innocent civilians in Gaza City.
“The occupation committed a massacre against the Al-Aff family in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City, killing more than ten civilians, most of them women and children, while in another massacre committed in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, 11 people were killed, including seven children targeted by a drone while filling water. These crimes expose the fascist criminal nature of the enemy,” emphasised Hamas.
The resistance stressed that the move constitutes “clear war crimes” that undermine international and humanitarian law and called for the immediate intervention of the United Nations (UN) Security Council to end the ongoing Israeli offensive against Palestinians.
In addition, Hamas urged Arab and Islamic countries, pro-Palestine activists, and civil society groups worldwide to take effective action and continue pressuring the Israeli regime to end the aggression.
“The United States (US) administration, which obstructs international security and justice institutions from fulfilling their role in addressing the brutal crimes the world has been witnessing for nearly two years, is an actual partner in a crime against humanity that history will not forgive. All responsible parties will be held accountable, no matter how long it takes,” reiterated Hamas.
