Hamas welcomes the resolution issued by the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS)

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has welcomed the resolution issued by the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS).

“The legal definition proving the commission of genocide by the Zionist occupation entity against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has been met. This constitutes new legal documentation, adding to the international reports and testimonies that have documented the genocide our people are enduring in full view of the world,” said the resistance.

Hamas further expressed frustration at the slow response from the international community, stating that it has failed to act against the Israeli regime and its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

The resistance also called on the international community and the United Nations (UN) to take immediate action to halt the ongoing Israeli offensive and the displacement of Palestinian civilians.
