“We clearly state that negotiations are meaningless while the siege, genocide, and starvation of our children, women, and people in Gaza continue. We refuse to let our people’s suffering and blood be bargaining chips for the occupation’s political games.”
This is according to Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, a leader in Gaza and head of its negotiating delegation for the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. His remarks follow the announcement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former U.S. President Donald Trump that they will abandon ceasefire negotiations with Hamas.
“It’s time for our Ummah (Islamic nation) to break Gaza’s siege and deliver food, water, and medicine to your brothers and people,” urged the resistance.
Hamas also called upon Arab and Islamic nations—particularly those bordering Palestine—to march toward the region by land and sea, to besiege the embassies of complicit countries, and to fully implement economic and tourism boycotts.
“To our people in Jordan: Gaza looks to you with hope and brotherhood to keep your popular action and intensify efforts to stop this atrocity against your brothers and holy sites.”
“To the people of Egypt—its leaders, army, tribes, scholars, Al-Azhar, churches, and intellectuals: Will you let your brothers in Gaza starve to death while they are near your borders?!” challenged Hamas.
The resistance commended Yemen for its solidarity actions, which included land and sea convoys as well as aid ships like Madleen and Handala, part of the Global March to Gaza, and the first Soumoud (“steadfastness”) Convoy from Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya.
“All these courageous efforts rejected the occupation’s crimes and decided to break the state of helplessness, declaring to Gaza’s people that we stand with them,” reiterated Hamas.
