“On World Humanitarian Day, we call for exerting maximum pressure on the occupation to open the crossings and halt the genocide and starvation crimes against over two million Palestinians, forcing it to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.”
This is according to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. The statement comes as World Humanitarian Day is commemorated amid mass starvation in the Gaza Strip.
According to reports from Hamas, over 61,000 martyrs have been killed, most of them children and women.
“Nearly 40,000 children have been orphaned and 23,000 women widowed. Victims of famine and malnutrition have risen to over 235 martyrs, including 106 children.”
“Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu – wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) – and his Zio-Nazi government persist in disregarding United Nations (UN) resolutions and international appeals to stop their aggression and crimes against defenseless civilians, and deliberately block medicines and medical supplies to destroy Gaza’s health sector,” added the resistance.
