In response to the statements made by Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas described these statements as “misinformation aimed at concealing the brutality of the starvation in Gaza.”
Palestinian media Quds News Network reported that during Netanyahu’s war diary press conference, he dismissed reports from Gaza, claiming Israel is losing the propaganda war due to “bots and the algorithm.”
“The statements are a desperate attempt to absolve the Zionist entity and its criminal army of genocide and starvation crimes that have killed more than 18,000 children, in crimes well-documented by dozens of international and UN reports. These statements continue his misleading rhetoric to justify war crimes and distort facts,” affirmed Hamas.
“The use of the term ‘liberation’ is an attempt to distort the reality of occupation as defined by international law and relevant United Nations (UN) resolutions. This blatant tactic cannot cover up 22 months of systematic genocide, killing, and destruction,” added Hamas.
Hamas further added that Netanyahu’s claims are a means of deception to hide his plans for forced displacement, destruction of civilian infrastructure, and installing a subordinate authority.
