Fishing applications goes online

LOCAL

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment announced the re-opening of the Online Application System yesterday for the Fishing Rights Allocation Process for registered users and current applicants.

A spokesperson, Albi Modise, says applications will close at midnight on the 28th of January next year. It is expected that decisions on applications will be announced by the 28th of February.

Modise says re-opening the system gives all registered users and current applicants a further opportunity to resubmit their applications or to update their current applications.
