Digital Wellness: Finding a Balance in a Tech Obsessed World

As technology becomes increasingly integral to daily life, many people are experiencing overstimulation from both negative and positive content.

Speaking to VOC News, Fazlyn Petersen, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems at the University of the Western Cape, emphasized the importance of intentional screen time.

“It depends on what you’re using your screen time for. The goal should be intentional usage, ask yourself, is this technology serving me, or am I serving it?” Petersen remarked.
