Deputy President Paul Mashatile has expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Madlanga Commission to address any misunderstandings linked to his name.
This follows testimony by Sergeant Fannie Nkosi on Monday, in which he linked Mashatile to controversial businessman Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.
Speaking to VOC News, crime expert Chad Thomas said the hearing, initially scheduled to run for six months, will now extend to nine months. He added that it is unlikely to conclude by August, as new details continue to emerge from the inquiry.
