Two people have died in Blackheath when an informal structure caught alight early this (Monday) morning.
Cape Town Fire spokesperson, Jermaine Carelse, says the bodies of an adult and child were burnt beyond recognition in Omo Court in Wimbledon when they arrived on the scene.
The cause of the blaze is unknown and police are investigating the incident.
