The human rights organisation Africa4Palestine released a statement strongly condemning the latest Israeli airstrike on Qatar. According to the group, the airstrike was “carried out with complete impunity and in blatant violation of international law.”
“The attack, which targeted negotiators involved in mediation efforts, exposes the reckless disregard Israel has for diplomacy, sovereignty, and the rule of law. This assault demonstrates that even countries assisting Israel in negotiations are not spared from its aggression,” expressed the organisation.
Meanwhile, the Qatari Foreign Ministry denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks, labelling them as a “shameful attempt to justify the cowardly attack on the country.”
Further to this, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas condemned the killing of their officials who were part of the negotiating delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha. The resistance group labelled the move as a “blatant act of aggression and a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.”
