The Muslim community of Strand is set to convene this coming Friday to break their fast to sounds of Quranic recitation and nasheeds. Speaking to VOC News, Lateefa Tambala, head convener of Strand for Palestine, remarked that the event was successful last year, prompting the community to continue in the same spirit this year.
“The event will commence after Asr prayer on Friday afternoon, and it will take place on the grass area at 406 Beach Road, Strand. Prospective attends can expect guest speakers, nasheeds, Quranic recitations, and much more,” explained Tambala.
