The case concerning a mother accused of murdering her 11-year-old son has been postponed to the Johannesburg High Court for pre-trial proceedings.

Tiffany Nicole Meek came before the Roodepoort Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning for the conclusion of the indictment in her case.

Meek is charged with murdering Jayden-Lee following the discovery of the child’s body on a staircase close to their unit in a Fleurhof complex in May.

Speaking to VOC News, a representative for the Teddy Bear Foundation for Children, Shaheeda Omar, encourages the public to let the legal process unfold and not allow their feelings to dominate.
