The Palestinian resistance group Hamas reported that the Ministry of Health in Gaza condemned the abduction of nurse Tasneem Marwan al-Hams, who is the daughter of Dr. Marwan al-Hams, Director of the Ministry’s field hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
“ He, himself, was abducted in an occupation prison by an occupation army special unit this morning while she was on her way to work at a medical point in Khan Younis,” stated the resistance.
According to Hamas, the Ministry considers the assault a flagrant violation of humanitarian laws and the protection of health personnel.
“We hold the occupation fully responsible for her safety and demand that it disclose her fate. We call on the international community to urgently intervene to stop these violations and protect healthcare workers and their families,” reiterated Hamas.
