“The occupation and its fascist army continue to commit the crime of genocide against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as it committed today two massacres in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City and in the Nuseirat refugee camp. Since this morning, nearly one hundred martyrs, including children, have been killed as a result of the savage bombardment.”
This is according to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. The statement comes following the systematic destruction that has not ceased for nearly two years. Hamas further called on the international community to intervene and take the necessary actions.
“This ongoing brutal escalation represents a blatant and defiant message sent by war criminal Netanyahu to the UN and the international community, amid a continuing and unjustifiable state of inaction, constituting an abject failure of the global and United Nations (UN) system to fulfill its legal obligations to protect civilians from war crimes, genocide, and ethnic cleansing,” said Hamas.
“We reiterate our call to our Arab and Islamic countries, as well as to the international community, to assume their legal and moral responsibilities and to take urgent action, using all available means, to pressure for an end to these terrorist crimes against our Palestinian people,” reiterated the resistance.
