Hamas denounces Israel’s constant bombardment of Gaza City

“President Trump’s comments regarding the recent attack on Gaza City and the status of prisoners display a clear preference toward one narrative and reflect an inconsistency in addressing the humanitarian impact, including the harm to civilians in the Gaza Strip, many of whom are women and children.”

According to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, the statement follows recent negotiation talks between Hamas and the U.S. administration. Hamas asserts that these talks are undermining opportunities to reach an agreement that could facilitate the release of prisoners and bring an end to the ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza.

“This includes the latest criminal attack on the State of Qatar and the attempt to assassinate the negotiating delegation while discussing U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent proposal,” stated Hamas.

“The fate of the occupation soldiers held in Gaza lies in the hands of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government. Gaza City is experiencing systematic destruction and a fascist genocidal campaign that also endangers the lives of these Zionist captive soldiers,” added the resistance.

Hamas further urged Prime Minister Netanyahu to assume responsibility for the lives of captured Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip and to pursue an agreement to end the ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza.
