A dead body was discovered at Sea Point Promenade earlier this morning, prompting police to investigate a murder.
According to SAPS Spokesperson Captain F. C. van Wyk, Sea Point police have registered an inquest for an investigation into an incident that occurred around 07:00 at the Promenade grass area near Beach and Norfolk Road in Sea Point. A 40-year-old man was found dead from a gunshot wound.
