SPCA calls for humane treatment of animals over Qurbani

The Cape of Good Hope (CoGH) SPCA has reiterated its call to the Muslim public planning to slaughter sheep or cattle for Qurbani to respect the rights of the animal. The annual religious celebration of Eid-ul-adha (Eid of Sacrifice) is only a few days away and this year, Qurbani begins on the 1 September 2017, the 10th of Dhil Hijja.
