Athlone police are investigating a murder case after a 42-year-old man was shot and killed in Hanover Park on Sunday.
According to reports, the deceased is believed to be a known gangster who had been terrorizing the community. SAPS Spokesperson, Captain FC Van Wyk said circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
