The recent tragic road rage incident that unfolded in Emmarentia, Johannesburg, serves as a reminder for South Africans to reassess their approaches to conflict resolution.

On Sunday, an altercation between two drivers escalated into a shooting.

Reports indicate that a female passenger allegedly took a gun from one of the cars, while one of the drivers also pulled out a firearm.

Speaking to VOC News, Mike Bolhuise, a special security services expert, stated that the country’s situation is critical due to widespread instability among people on various levels, beginning even before they drive on the roads.
