Matric exams under way at prisons, inmates to write technical papers soon

There are 198 inmates sitting for the 2023 national senior certificate (NSC) final examinations within correctional facilities. The department of correctional services (DCS) said they started with computer applications technology on Tuesday and will tackle the English paper 1 on October 30. Stage 2 rolling blackouts to be reintroduced until further notice

LOCAL Eskom says it will reintroduce Stage 2 rolling blackouts daily from Monday. It will be implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 the next morning. Eskom says this will continue until further notice. Naptosa welcomes decision to cancel mid-year exams for matric learners
