Fire and Rescue services says hundreds are left affected by informal settlement fires

The City of Cape Town’s (COCT) Fire and Rescue Services has confirmed that two fatalities have been recorded following several infernos that have been reported on the Cape Flats in the last week. 11 trains damaged by CT station fire

Several train carriages caught alight at the Cape Town railway station on Saturday afternoon. The City Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson, Theo Layne said platform 15 and 16 of the station were affected.
