JobZapp Aims to Unlock 10,000 Temp Jobs

A new South African platform is transforming how people access and offer temporary jobs. JobZapp, founded by Thabiet Davids, aims to connect job seekers directly with employers in real time through an easy-to-use mobile app.

Davids said the platform was created to address a clear gap in the market:
“We built JobZapp because we saw two problems: people looking for work and people needing reliable help, but no simple way to connect the two. JobZapp is the bridge.”

As part of its launch, Davids introduced the “10,000 Jobs Campaign,” a bold initiative aimed at unlocking 10,000 temporary jobs across the Western Cape.
“The 10,000 Jobs Campaign is a mission to unlock 10,000 temp jobs across the Western Cape,” he explains.

He likens the app’s functionality to popular ride-hailing services:
“JobZapp works like Uber or Bolt, but instead of hailing a ride, you’re hailing a worker.”

Job seekers simply register on the app, input their details and skills, and go through a verification process. Only verified users are eligible for work opportunities.

JobZapp is available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store, or visit JobZapp.com for more information.
