CAA probes Kameeldrift plane crash

The Civil Aviation Authority is investigating and will give more details soon of the plane crash at Kameeldrift outside Pretoria.

One person was killed and 20 injured, 18 on board the aircraft and two in a building that it hit late Tuesday afternoon.

The plane reportedly experienced difficulties after taking off from Wonderboom Airport.

Tshwane Metro Roads and Transport MMC, Sheila Lynn Senkubuge says the probe is in the hands of the CAA.

“We’re really just offering support and condolences from the city’s side. We are offering our support on the side of the mayor as well and we really just waiting to hear from the CAA and from the investigators what the outcome of the investigation will be since this crash happened.”
