The Spanish government has made the decision to recall its ambassador to Israel, as stated in the official state gazette.
The action taken on Wednesday follows Spain’s position as one of the European Union’s strongest opponents of Israel’s genocidal conflict in Gaza and the recent war against Iran initiated by the United States and Israel
Speaking to VOC News, international relations analyst Ashraf Patel said Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is “one of the bright stars for justice in the world.”
