A report from Middle East Eye investigating the intimidation campaign against International Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor Karim Khan has been subjected to a severe and escalating intimidation campaign linked to his investigation into alleged Israeli war crimes.
This comes after Khan advocated for arrest warrants against Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, due to their expansion of settlements in the West Bank.
Speaking to VOC News, Naeem Jeena from the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) stated that the sexual harassment allegations are only one aspect of the campaign against Khan.

According to Palestinian media outlet Quds News Network (QNN), the intimidation campaign includes threats from political figures, warnings from close associates, media leaks of sexual assault allegations against him (which he denies), and concerns for his safety related to the presence of Mossad in The Hague.
“Overall, the investigation reveals a coordinated, multi-front effort by political and intelligence actors to intimidate Khan and derail the ICC’s investigation into alleged Israeli war crimes,” as reported by QNN.
