WC EMS respond to over 5k incidents at the weekend

Western Cape Emergency Medical Officers responded to over 5K incidents in the province this past weekend.

The officials also helped conduct mobile vaccination visits to community members who are unable to travel to the Covid-19 vaccination sites. The officers carried out a vaccination drive at the Monwabisi Park in Khayelitsha.

Western Cape Emergency Medical Services spokesperson, Deanna February, says non-cardiac pain and weapon assaults were the most common complaints the officers had to attend to this weekend.
