CT man sentenced for killing his elderly father

A Cape Town man was recently sentenced to 23 years behind bars for the murder of his 72-year-old father, Western Cape police said on Thursday. Jonathan Schapira, 31, was handed the sentence in the Western Cape High Court after being found guilty of planning his father, Stanley's, death. Paddlers discover body floating in Zeekoevlei

Paddlers on Sunday discovered the body of a man in a life jacket in Zeekoevlei near Grassy Park on Sunday, the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) confirmed.
