A pedestrian has died after crossing the N2 near the Mew Way exit near Khayelitsha. City traffic spokesperson, Maxine Bezuidenhout, says the deceased is believed to be about 35 years old. Many residents from the Somerset West area worked themselves to a “standstill” as fires wreaked havoc.
