Masjid plaque honours revolutionary Sara Van De Kaap
To mark Heritage Day, the Bo-Kaap community unveiled a plaque at the Auwal masjid in Dorp Street to honour Sara Van de Kaap, known as the mother of Waqf in South Africa.
