‘SABC 8’ journalist Suna Venter found dead

The body of senior radio producer Suna Venter, one of the ‘SABC 8’ journalists, was discovered at her flat in Fairland, Johannesburg, on Thursday morning, her family confirmed. Venter, 32, had recently been diagnosed with a cardiac condition known as stress cardiomyopathy or “Broken Heart Syndrome”, which could cause rapid and severe heart muscle weakness. SABC 8 to testify before Parliament inquiry

The eight SABC journalists who took the broadcaster to court this year will testify before Parliament's ad hoc committee looking into the fitness of the SABC board on Monday.
