Pakistan elections underway

Millions of Pakistanis are flocking to polling stations to vote in the country's parliamentary elections that have been marred by violence, including targeting of candidates. At least 29 people were killed in a suicide attack on Wednesday in western city of Quetta near a polling station. Kenya election: Voting begins in re-run amid tightened security

Voting is under way in Kenya amid tight security in a re-run of the presidential election, which is being boycotted by the main opposition. Police have clashed with opposition supporters, some of whom have been blocking access to polling stations.
