The Nazi death camps in occupied Poland and Israel’s battle for narrative control

INTERNATIONAL It is an emotional rite of passage for most Israeli Jewish teens. Every year, some 40,000 high school students, most in 11th or 12th grade, travel to the Nazi death camps in Poland.
