Blaze in Belhar leave several displaced

Twenty people were left displaced after several informal structures were destroyed in a fire in Belhar yesterday afternoon. According to the City of Cape Town's Fire and Rescue Service Spokesperson Jermaine Carelse, local firefighters managed to contain and extinguish the blaze that destroyed approximately seven informal structures. Two women suffered smoke inhalation and were treated by medics. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage. VOC
