WCED says 2024 matric exams progressing smoothly

Matric pass rate of 75.1% for 2017

The matric class of 2017 have achieved a pass rate of 75.1%‚ a 2.6 percentage points increase from 72.5% in the previous year. This is still down from a peak of 78.2% of matriculants who passed in 2013. NSFAS funding deadline looms for matrics

The National Students' Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has called on the Matric Class of 2016 to submit applications for student aid for 2017. The scheme says its centralised system is closing its application window for the 2017 academic year at the end of November.
