Eight killed due to electrocutions during heavy rains in Western Cape

A Golden Arrow bus has overturned on Jakes Gerwel Drive, near Athlone, as heavy rains continue in Cape Town. An intense cold front made landfall on Sunday, bringing with it gale-force winds and heavy rainfall. Cape roads flooding as heavy rains herald winter season

Cape Town traffic services teams are attending to reports of localised flooding, where suburban roads and routes are obstructed.
