Kuwait tweep jailed for ‘defaming Saudi Arabia’

A Kuwaiti criminal court has sentenced a Twitter user to seven years in prison with hard labour on charges that include “defaming Saudi Arabia” and “disseminating false news”, local newspaper Al-Qabas reported. UAE envoy: Gulf states considering new Qatar sanctions

A Saudi-led bloc is considering fresh sanctions against Qatar that may include asking trading partners to choose between them or Doha, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ambassador to Russia said. More threats at Qatar as Russia, US pulled into crisis

Moscow has dismissed allegations that Russian hackers helped spark tension between Qatar and its former allies, as the growing Gulf crisis pulled the Kremlin and White House into its orbit.
