Israel detains Gaza Freedom Flotilla

The Freedom Flotilla set sail from the local port on Tuesday in defiance of a 12-year Israeli sea blockade on Gaza. Turkish court dismisses case by Mavi Marmara victims

A Turkish court today halted a case brought by victims of an Israeli raid on an aid flotilla that killed 10 people in 2010, a lawyer for the victims’ families said, following a deal in June to restore ties between Israel and Turkey.
