Rammed cash-in-transit van bursts into flames on N2 in Eastern Cape

The N2 has been closed between Blaney and Breidbach in the Eastern Cape after an attempted cash-in-transit robbery. It appears the cash transporter was rammed by robbers in a luxury sedan. Eastern Cape records its first COVID-19 related death

The Eastern Cape has recorded its first coronavirus related death. A retired nurse has died from COVID-19 at Livingstone Hospital in Port Elizabeth. The deceased had attended a funeral at KwaDwesi Location where she is believed to have contracted the virus.
