SA ‘Tinder Swindler’ court case postponed

The case of the man dubbed the Northern Cape’s own Tinder Swindler has been postponed to the 30th of this month. Zandile Mafe to appear in Western Cape High Court

Alleged Parliament arsonist Zandile Mafe is expected to appear in the Western Cape High Court to appeal a lower court’s refusal to grant him bail. Mafe was arrested in January on charges of starting the devastating fire that destroyed parts of the National Assembly in January. US court orders halt to ‘Satan Shoe’ sales in Nike trademark row

A United States federal judge has sided with sportswear giant Nike Inc in ordering a company in New York to temporarily stop further sales of “Satan Shoes” it produced in collaboration with the rapper Lil Nas X. Government winning court cases but losing public buy-in, say analysts

Government may be winning court cases seeking to challenge their response to the Covid-19 pandemic, but they are losing public buy-in.
