Cattle movement ban lifted but foot-and-mouth monitoring retained

Agriculture minister Thoko Didiza has lifted the countrywide ban on the movement of cattle after measures to limit the spread of foot-and-mouth disease were implemented 21 days ago. Hawks probe Supra’s R1.5m ‘gift’ to Zuma

North West premier Supra Mahumapelo gave Jacob Zuma a herd of cattle worth R1.5-million as a gift - and paid for it using public funds.
