Suspect arrested in connection of Intercape bus driver murder

The Western Cape Minister of Mobility, Daylin Mitchell, has welcomed the arrest of a suspect in connection with recent shooting incidents directed at the Intercape bus company’s drivers. WC stakeholders meet amid attacks on Intercape busses

LOCAL The Western Cape Department of Community Safety and Police Oversight, Intercape bus company, the South African National Taxi Council, and the police will brief the provincial standing committee on Transport on Friday. This is regarding the ongoing attacks on long-distance buses. Intercape confirmed that two drivers were shot on the N2 highway near Nyanga on Wednesday evening.
