Al-Imdaad to build 10,000 homes for Rohingya in Bangladesh

By Yaseen Kippie The Al-Imdaad Foundation has been given permission to construct ten thousand homes for displaced Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh by the country's authorities. Qari Ziyaad Patel, a trustee of Al-Imdaad, visited the Bangladeshi regions which saw over 600 thousand Rohingyans flee their homes in Rakhine State, Myanmar. VOC became the first Muslim radio station in South Africa when a special events license was granted to the station in Ramadan/January 1995. Subsequent temporary broadcast licenses were granted, permitting the station to broadcast for 24 hours.
