Islamic State: ‘Suspected leader’ of IS group killed in Syria, says Turkey’s Erdogan
Turkish forces killed the "suspected leader" of the Islamic State group in Syria on Saturday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced late Sunday night. Erdogan said that Abu al-Hussein al-Husseini al-Qurashi had been "neutralised" during an operation led by Turkish intelligence services.
