BREAKING NEWS: The South African Haj and Umrah Council (Sahuc) has released this year’s haj accreditation list for the year 1437. The list has been published on Sahuc’s website sahuchajjregistry.org.za and all hujjaj were notified via SMS. Successful applicants have until the 3rd of May at 11pm to accept accreditation and choose an operator.
“Hujaj must go back onto the system to accept, reject or transfer until next year,” Sahuc president Shaheen Essop told VOC on Monday.
Any accredited hujjaj that does not make a decision and is left pending on the system, will be cancelled and will lose 30 points.
“They will go back into the queue,” Essop warned.
The name, pin numbers and reference numbers of all applicants can be found on the website. 1950 hujjaj have been accredited on this list, out of South Africa’s quota of 2000.
