The two terrorist groups, Al-Qaeda and Daesh, both committed the crime of violating the sanctity of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah by targeting it with their terrorist crimes aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of the Kingdom.

The criminal attack implemented by Naer Hammad Al-Nujaidi, who blew himself with an explosive belt when four security men approached him on his way to enter the Prophet’s Mosque, carries the prints of the terrorist group Al-Qaeda, in a desperate and miserable attempt to terrify Muslims and worshippers.

Eleven years ago, on Thursday, 13/7/1426, one of the most dangerous elements of Al-Qaeda terrorist group took positions in seven locations near the Prophet’s Mosque in a bid to hide themselves in the Buqaa area behind visitors and worshippers to implement their criminal schemes. But the security authorities managed to arrest them.

At one of these locations, one of the most dangerous criminals, a wanted man on the list of 26 wanted by the Ministry of Interior, Saleh Al-Oufi, was making his stand when the exchange of gunfire between the terrorist and security authorities killed him. He was one of the leaders of Al-Qaeda in Saudi Arabia.

The operation resulted in uncovering a warehouse of arms and weapons, along with important documents and sums of money belonging to the takfirists and the deviant group.
